About MAD Designs

I’m a freelance graphic designer. My Specialty is to offer customised, professional visual design solutions for a broad range of printed materials to businesses and individuals alike. Working closely with my customers I achieve the designs they want, offering a personal touch that is sometimes lost when dealing with larger companies.

My core services are as follows:

• Corporate Identity (e.g. logo, business cards, letterheads and compliment slips)

• Promotional Materials (e.g. fliers, posters, tickets, menus, exhibition stands and banners)

• Wedding stationery (complete wedding package e.g. invitations, order of service, place cards and thank you cards)

• Special Occasion Stationery (e.g. birthday and anniversaries)

• Also able to offer subcontract design service for busy printers and designers.

Background

I graduated from York College in 1999 with an HND in Graphic Design. After graduation I worked as a freelancer for a variety of companies including S&L Designs and Norwich Union before moving to work as an in-house graphic designer for Covance Laboratories in Harrogate. As a global company I dealt with designs for the European arm of the organisation. Relocating to N. Ireland in 2003 I began work as a graphic designer with Direct Image in Ballymena a new company specialising in design solutions and printing. In February 2009 I decided to become a freelance graphic designer and set up MAD Designs.
